The Many Waters

I have gone through the book and pulled out the most relevant references to LIGHT being a biblical symbol, and the interpretation offered by the author.

The Energy and the Light that is God is so phenomenal that no one can approach him and live. (page 18)

Psalms 36:9

Light was also a symbol of spiritual awareness and knowledge, in contrast to darkness and ignorance. As all life needs water, it too was a symbol of life—both physical life and spiritual life. All life is water and light. (page 18)

Throughout the Bible, the word light is used to describe the forces of energy. The people of the time could see the properties of light, but they were also aware that there were forces that they could not see and these they referred to as “the invisible.”
