I: God is Conscious Energy
Before creation, there was nothing — except God, and the Spirit of God.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” — Genesis 1:1–2
God and the Spirit of God are not the same. We cannot place a label on God, because God is. The Spirit of God is the creator of matter.
The Tao Te Ching expresses this mystery:
“The Tao which can be described is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be pronounced is not the eternal Name. The unnamed is the limit of heaven and earth. The named is the mother of creation.”

We ask: What is God? Who is God? Where is God?
All of creation began with consciousness. God is Conscious Energy.
God is the invisible force and vital essence within all that is alive: mind, consciousness, and soul. God is Energy. God is Light. God is the Energy of all energy and the Light of all light. He is Conscious Energy — the Soul of souls, the Mind of minds, the Life of all life. He is the source of all that exists.
II: Energy Is the Foundation of the Universe
“Energy is both source and substance. Every entity and event emerge first as energy.” — The New Akashic Records
Energy is the all-embracing power of the universe, and it cannot be destroyed. Our cosmos is made of matter, but there can be no matter without energy for matter is a form of energy. That is WHAT God is.
God is all there is. Everything that exists is from the Energy and the Light. It reaches to the height of forever in brightness and down to the lowest vibration and frequency of the darkest of the dark.
III: Light = Visible Energy | “The Invisible” = Unseen Forces
God, the Creator of the sun and the cosmos, is eternal, immortal and invisible –
“…dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man has seen, nor can see….”
1 Timothy 6:16
No one has ever seen God, no one has ever heard his voice, and no one can approach him and live. He is Light that is invisible to all life in heaven and on earth. God did not create energy and its many forces of light—God is Light.
Throughout the Bible, the word light is used to describe the forces of energy. The people of the time could see the properties of light, but they were also aware that there were forces that they could not see and these they referred to as “the invisible.”
And Mary said to Jesus: “…My Lord and Savior, of what manner then are the…invisibles and of what type, or rather of what quality are they, or of what quality is their light?” – Pistis Sophia, page 81
You, O God, have created the expanse of the heavens, and the host of heavenly lights, and the tasks of the spirits and the dominion of the Holy Ones…. (The Dead Sea Scrolls: The War Rule)
Energy is vast and complex, and the phenomena of light, visible and invisible, is multiform. It is light that permeates and engages the cosmos. Without light there would be no creation for all creation is light (energy), and before there was light the potential earth was without form and void.
IV: Light = Awareness | Water = Life
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”
-Genesis
When “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters,” Life from the Light called God moved down into the central sphere of what was to become heaven and earth.
Light was also a symbol of spiritual awareness and knowledge, in contrast to darkness and ignorance. As all life needs water, it too was a symbol of life—both physical life and spiritual life. All life is water and light.
V: Mind. Consciousness. Soul. The Essence of Heaven and Earth
The highest, most profound properties of life are Mind, Consciousness and Soul. These are the essence of heaven and earth, and that is who God is.
These are not separate qualities. They are variations of the same essence — the living energy that animates all creation.
VI: Life = Highest Intensity of Energy | Mind • Consciousness • Soul
“The highest intensity of energy is life, and all other forms of energy exist only to accommodate life.” — The Many Waters
